Overview
This once-in-a-lifetime experience includes visits to Rio de Janeiro, Iguazu Falls, Manaus and a luxury lodge in the heart of the Amazon.
Itinerary (10 days/9 nights)
DAY ONE: FLIGHT
Overnight flight from your home to Rio de Janeiro.
DAY TWO: RIO DE JANEIRO
Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport for the transfer to your hotel and assistance with hotel check-in.
Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.
DAY THREE: RIO DE JANEIRO
Privately guided tour of Rio de Janeiro. Highlights will include Sugar Loaf mountain and Corcovado. Enjoy an outstanding BBQ lunch.
Overnight in Rio de Janeiro.
DAY FOUR: RIO DE JANEIRO
Day at leisure to enjoy Rio de Janeiro.

DAY FIVE: RIO DE JANEIRO - IGUAZU
Private transfer to the airport for the flight to Iguazu.
Upon arrival, private transfer to the hotel and assistance with hotel check-in.

DAY SIX: IGUAZU
Privately guided tour of Iguazu Falls.
Overnight in Iguazu.
DAY SEVEN: IGUAZU - MANAUS
Private transfer to the airport for the flight to Manaus (via Sao Paulo).
Upon arrival in Manaus, private transfer to the hotel and assistance with hotel check-in.

DAY EIGHT: MANAUS - AMAZON
Morning pick up for the 3.5 hour drive to the Anavilhanas Lodge in the Amazon.
Greatest river archipelago in the world, the Estação Ecológica de Anavilhanas contains about 400 islands which extend for over 90 km of untouched native forest. It is a veritable maze of lakes, rivers and riverbanks which are the home to a very rich plant and animal life.
Located on Rio Negro, the archipelago is a paradise for biologists, ecologists and tourists.
Upon arrival, enjoy lunch and a tour of the Anavilhanas Islands.
In the evening, take part in a caiman spotting tour.

DAY NINE: AMAZON
After an early breakfast, enjoy a walk in the magnificent forest and visit to see Amazonian dolphins.
Overnight at the Anavilhanas Lodge.
DAY TEN: RETURN HOME
Early risers can watch the sun rise over the Amazon and also enjoy spectacular bird watching. Transfer to Manaus Airport for the return flight home.
