DAY ONE: LIMA
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be met for
the private transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Lima.
DAY TWO: LIMA
Privately guided tour of Lima.
Highlights will include The Government Palace, the City Hall, the
Palace of the Archbishop and Plaza San Martin. We will also explore the residential
areas of Lima, including San Isidro and Miraflores.
Lima, the main gateway to Perú, is a major city bustling with living history and
movement. It is an ethnic melting pot, featuring pre-Hispanic, colonial and modern elements.
The metropolis is also surrounded by every aspect of nature: the sea, islands, mountains,
desert and plant life. Its various quarters feature a city of more than 8 million residents
with an active nightlife and outstanding culture.

DAY THREE: LIMA - CUSCO
Private transfer from the hotel to the airport for the
flight to Cusco.
Inca walls, colorful costumes, churches built on top of palaces, citadels
lost in the Andean heights, legendary roads-all the beauty of a glorious
past that enfolds the visitors who arrives in Cusco, the sacred city of
the Incas and archaeological capital of the Americas. Ever since US archaeologist Hiram Bingham discovered the citadel of Machu Picchu for the world, Cusco has fired the imagination of millions of travelers from all over the world who venture down the Inca Trail every year, headed for the summit of one of the world’s most extraordinary monuments.
Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be met at the airport for the private
transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, enjoy a privately guided tour of Cusco,
including the beautiful church of Santo Domingo, the Cathedral
and Quenqo, believed to be an important sanctuary during
the Inca period. We continue to the nearby ruins of Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and
finally the Sacsahuaman Fortress. Return to Cusco.

DAY FOUR: CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – CUSCO
Privately guided tour to the valley of the Urubamba River the so called
Sacred Valley of the Inca. We proceed then to Pisac where hundreds of visitors
and people from remote communities dressed in their traditional and colorful
attires meet to market and barter their products. Today, the market also has
a tourist element, so there is an opportunity to buy souvenirs. Lunch will be
served in a typical “hacienda”. Afterwards, we drive along the valley to
Ollantaytambo, where the Temple of the Sun (formed of six gigantic monoliths, whose total weight exceeds 50 tons)
and the Terrace of the Ten Niches stand out. Ollantaytambo was the site of the only successful Inca battle against the Spanish conquerors and the only town in the area to still retain its original Inca layout. Return to Cusco.

DAY FIVE: CUSCO – MACHU PICCHU
Private transfer to Poroy train station for the 1.5 hour trip
through the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, a small
coach will take you up the roads to the entrance of the citadel.
Enjoy a private guided tour of Machu Picchu.
The ancient Inca citadel of Machu Picchu is the star attraction of Cusco.
The citadel is deemed one of the world’s finest examples of landscape architecture and was
discovered in 1911 by US explorer Hiram Bingham.
Machu Picchu (“old mountain” in Quechua, the ancient language of the Incas) nestles on top
of a mountain saddle high above the Urubamba River in the middle of the cloud forest. It was both a center of worship and astronomic observatory as well as the private retreat of the family of Inca ruler Pachacutec. It is split into two major areas: the agriculture zone, made up of terracing and food storehouses; and the urban zone, featuring the sacred sector, with temples, squares and royal tombs which have been carved to an extraordinary degree of perfection. The stone staircases and canals are found throughout this unique archaeological site.

DAY SIX: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
The morning is at leisure for additional touring on your own.
In the afternoon, you will board the return train to Cusco.

DAY SEVEN: CUSCO - LIMA
Private transfer to the airport for the return flight to Lima.
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be met for the private transfer to the hotel.

DAY EIGHT: LIMA
Private transfer to the airport for the
